A disciple of renowned Kathak dancers Guru SomashekarChudanath and SowmyaSomashekar from Niranthara School of Dance,Dainika offered a spellbinding performance that was a testament to years of rigorous training and artistic dedication.
The performance commenced with a vibrant Ganapathi Vandana, invoking the blessings of the remover of obstacles. This was followed by a soulful Devi Stuti, showcasing her deep emotive expression and technical finesse. A devotional MeeraBhajan highlighted her graceful abhinaya, touching the spiritual chord of the audience.
Dainika’s command over rhythm and technique was evident in the Teen TaalNritta composition, where her crisp footwork and precise pirouettes drew enthusiastic applause. A unique addition to the repertoire was the poignant Ghazal ‘AajJaane Ki Zid Na Karo’, presented with sensitivity and lyrical charm. She concluded with a vibrant Tarana, leaving the audience enthralled with her energy and poise.
The evening was further graced by the presence of eminent chief guests – Karnataka KalashreeNandini Mehta and Dr.Sushma B. V, who both lauded Dainika’s performance and encouraged her continued artistic journey.
