B.PAC/B.CLIP 18 member delegation safely boarded the flight to return to Bengaluru

Eighteen delegates from B.PAC/B.CLIP were on a 7 day study tour (June 7-13) hosted by Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs focused on civic leadership, policymaking and sustainability.

The scheduled departure of the delegation on June 13, 2025 from Tel Aviv to Bengaluru was disrupted because of airport closure in Israel. Upon receipt of this information and assessment of the situation, B.PAC   has been working with the Israel Consulate, Government of Karnataka (GoK) and Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India (GoI) for supporting the safe return of delegates. The officials of Indian High Commission in Israel were immediately contacted   to support the delegation locally.

Ms. Orli Weitzman, The Consul General of South India who accompanied the delegation extended full support to B.PAC/B.CLIP delegation to ensure their security and safety during their extended stay in Tel Aviv.

We are pleased to inform you that the team has boarded the flight from Jordan and will be reaching Bengaluru tomorrow.

B.PAC is deeply thankful to the Israeli Consulate, The Indian High Commission in Israel, the Indian Embassy in Jordan for ensuring safety and security of our team at all times and safe boarding of flight.

B.PAC is also extremely thankful to the GOK and the MEA for all its coordination efforts in this matter.
